News Point@NDTV (23rd March 2010)

Question: Should Delihites pay for Commonwealth Games 2010?

This question arise by Abhigyan Prakash on News Point@NDTV on 23rd March 2010 and very next morning when Delhi Govt. has been floored the State Budget 2010-2011 in Delhi Legislative Assembly. If looked the budget at lightly way than anybody can understand the budget is not for General People. All necessarily goods has been increased by VAT for example Diesel, LPG, CNG, Cold Drinks, Tea, Cofee, Desi Ghee, Dry Fruits, Household Plasic  Goods, Utensils, Cutlery, Locks, Furniture, Wire & Metal mesh, Glucose D, Kerosene Stoves, Lanterns, Petromax & their  spares. I have mentioned those items which effect the pocket of Genral People and these are necessity of general people. But after looking extensively on budget this will not  constraint on selected items. If diesel prices will hike than lot of grocery item's price  will automatically increase because of transportation charge will increase as well.

In last two-three days Honourable CM said that you are always asking about price hike but not talking about salary hikes. How many people are working on salary basis or doing some job.  Suppose if the salaried people gets hike than our CM should also know the last year's recession and

how many people lost their job as well, but if among them some of survived well than how much they get hike in their salary. Current year is also not going well for unorganised sector as well.

Our honourable CM is saying if we should live in world class city than we have to pay for that. Is Delhi is world class City? I don't think our CM don't know what is the definition and what are the basic amenaties are mandatory for world class city. Is our CM is talking about Lutien's Delhi than I don't think it will pass the basic criteria for being a world class  city. Just look some the place and think twice and thrice over that Delhi is world class City or not for example: Trilokpuri, Kalyanpuri, Mangolpuri, KarawalNagar, NandNagri, InderPuri, Babarpur Khajuri, Bhajanpura, Nathupura, Burari, Sonia Vihar,  Jhilmil, Vikas Nagar, Palam Colony etc can say the status of world class City. If you are talking about Delhi than it is not all about Lutien's Delhi, it is all about including the places mentioned above as well. So you have take care about all the places the same eye. One more than thing that is strange that honourable finance minister of Delhi is also coming from East Delhi, Where the most of general people are living. If we have not forgetten about the CM's prior statement that East Delhi is  bad portion of Delhi's world class map. And finance minister nothing has to do, because they don't know how the money is coming from in common man's pocket. They say that they will review the VAT. But one thing nobody knows that this is the govt. policy that increase the price and roll-back of least of percentage. But ultimately the govt will be in profit for example if any item's VAT has been increased from 5% to 12.5% than if they will roll back by 2.5% than what will happen the govt is in 5% profit. So this is the logic to be in NewsPaper and also said to be that they are thinking about the common people.

At the end of this point, I can ask the question that suggest from your side that what will be the best budget for common people. I am not the people who can do that there are lot of people who are doing this better. So they will have to know that by you people.

Story of Bad Storage-Govt of India

I was watching the "Badintazami Ki Kahani" @ NDTV. So we can say
it is total failure of Our Central Govt. to manage the food grains are available
at govt's store. It is millions of matric tonnes of wheat in govt store since 2008 and it is going to wastage the grains and in open market it going to price hike again and again. And one more worst thing is coming season of wheat is going to give us a better crops than last year as well. So if the the grain of 2008 is wasting than where should the govt will keep the newer one. Will the price be hike again and who will pay for this again "The Common Man - A common man of  RK Laxman, who always see the things never will open his mouth and nothing he will say again".

IPL Opening Night

I was watching the IPL-3 Opening Night Celebration on MTV last night. It was amazing and also seen that how people are amazed to see Sachin Tendulkar in front of. I was also excited that I am watching first time off the field on stage to say something to the crowd. It was great occasion that Sachin has been chosen brand ambassador of United Nation's Environmental program. It has been also tied up with IPL-3. It is also the second person in India who become the brand ambassador for UN's program and First one was Nobel Peace winner Mother Teressa.

I am totally agree with Sachin Tendulkar that we can change a little bit in our life than it can great impact on our society as well as our environment.  Take an example : When we support Earth Hour on 27th March 8:30PM to 9:30PM. So how much energy we can save for our planet no body knows. Please Act Now! Even you can change the planet to doing such a little thing in your life. It is a request to all the people from our country Act Now and stop blaming to Govt. Another example of the little work around Greenathon from NDTV for lighting the villages from solar power. I salute NDTV to bring such a wonderful programme to show the people that if you can start from small thing it can be very big if you have some good faith on you and yourself.

So try to make thing as little as you can so it will motivate you and your's circle to keep burning towards the responsibility of our society.
