Happy Teacher’s Day

The great philosopher, Dr S. Radhakrishnan said that a university is what its teachers make it. In the ancient universities in India, the teachers or professors as they are called today were treated with great respect though, unlike at present, they did not get good pay and perks.

Teacher's Day in India is celebrated every year on 5th September, ever since 1962. The day commemorates the birthday of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakhrishnan, a philosopher and a teacher par excellence, and also the first Vice President of India and the second President of India. Some students approached him to celebrate his birthday and he asked them to honor their teachers instead. Dr Radhakhrishnan believed that "teachers should be the best minds in the country". Whether that is true or not in modern India is a contentious issue. Every day millions of parents hand over their children to teachers to mould and shape as they see fit. The authority and power invested in the teacher is immense. Do they measure up to that responsibility? Does the system encourage for the "best minds in the country" to enter the profession of teaching? These are difficult questions with no clear answers. But what is clear is the role of the teacher and the potential in that responsibility. And who can articulate that better than a life long teacher?

I congratulate all my teachers who shaped me from childhood on the occasion of Teacher’s Day. I respect each and every one who contributed in my life from all aspects. Happy Teacher's Day to all teachers in world and hope they will give their best result to make the society more civilized.

Is people is bigger than parliament?

I am happy that Anna Hazare's fast ends today and that both sides have reached some of understanding.

Anna achievements are really a historic. He managed to one of the most unapproachable governments into positive action. Anna fast changes in the youth's hearts. He also started the much-needed process of restoring good values in Indian people. Many of us are still corrupt, whether forced by the system or otherwise. That part just became stronger. This mass booster shot of morality is the biggest contribution of the movement.

Of course, these achievements did come at a cost. We saw a relatively long period of unsettling process. We saw unpleasant human qualities and over aggressiveness on both sides, out for public display. In an ideal world, people would be reasonable, and irrespective of their position. However, we live in a far from ideal world, and given the circumstances. This time, our youth did not come on to streets to hurt people from another caste or religion. They came to simply demand a more fair and just society, in a peaceful manner. It is a proud moment for all of us. India's class of 2011 is different, and a salute to all those who have participated in various ways whether it is online or offline. Their significance is very important to partially success of this movement.

Yes I am saying it is partially success because the bill will now goes to under the standing committee of parliament for further discussion. Where we have seen members like Mr. Lalu Prasad Yada, Mr. Ram Vilas Paswan various others will listen all aspects of bill than they will recommend what they think is right.

However, i was shocked, and disheartened by the criticism of Anna from certain sections of the English-speaking Indian intellectual circles especially from the ministry of Government of India’s English speaking ministers. If the elite had backed Anna stronger, we could have had a faster and better consensus. But they backed Anna by Online off-course, these support also give the strengthen to the movement. Of course, people have a right to an opinion.

The strongest anti-Anna argument was that Parliament cannot justify by its strong discussion about how they can save the parliament from hijack by people. There is no doubt that Parliament and the Constitution are important and to be respected. However, these work on a basic assumption -confidence of the people. If confidence is lost, the institution does not work. And that is what we have to restore in Parliament now, before we ask people to respect it. If parliamentarians want to respect the people of their parliament than they should first respect their responsibilities and duties first. People always see how they work in parliament. When Anna started his fast there is no any party had come and said that yes Anna is right and we are going to support. After 12 days of fast they don’t have choice then they had come to conclusion that ok no problem just send the bill to standing committee and then we have the power to modify as per our convenience.

Lying is something politicians got away with for a long time. It came at the cost of losing people's trust. A good Lokpal Bill will actually bring back people's trust in the government. In fact, the government needs a Lokpal Bill almost more than the people. It also needs to be more open and approachable. Party spokespersons need to be people with personal conviction, who place what is right above the party, even if it means accepting mistakes. After seeing the instances like Raja, Nadia, Kanimonjhi, Kalmadi, Maran were sent to Tihar jail after convicted into corruption our honourable prime minister always said that this is the coalition government politics. So after Lokpal bill our prime minister will place them in situation like this.

And while we love telling politicians how to do their job, we as citizens have to do our job first to casting a good candidate to send him to parliament. We can't vote for candidates only because they are from a particular caste, religion or region. We have to place only one criterion - is he a good person? When we all send capable, honest people to Parliament, the trust and respect will return.

So the basics we got from this movement is that youths come forward to support Anna from all parts of country and one of most significance part of this movement was there is no any violence has been occurs. These messages also convey to our politicians that when they try to make agitate for any issue they never kept it a non-violent.

Anna vs Indian government

Anna is the person who is the second in Indian history who inspired Indian youth to fight for your future after JayPrakash Narayanan. Now the movement against corruption in Indian history done by so much corrupted politician from India. Corruption in India is not only in political blood but also in from all level of bureaucracy.
But this movement is not for only black money in Switzerland but also the corruption involved in all aspect of Indian life.
Come to the point why government has did low level act against Mr. Anna Hazare. This could be the one of most shameful act has been done by honorable prime minister Mr. Manmohan Singh's government. Specially congress spokesman Mr. Manish Tiwari is the kind of person who will not be respected by any more in India. And same as Tiwari there are lot of people around PM like Mr.Kapil Sibal, Mr.P Chidambram, Mr. Virappa Moily, Mr. Subodh Kant Sahai, Mr. S M Krishna, Mr. Pranav Mukherjee, Mr. Salman Khurshid and Mr.A K Antony. The above people are English speaking people who understand little bit of Hindi-The national language is speaking by half of Indian. This means that half of the Indians cannot understand what these people are speaking and whom they are trying to address and all the people I have mentioned above as PM's Team is a good lawyer than a politician. Because all above are lawyer in Supreme Court of India. One of major note of these person's life is that they started their career in politics as elected in Rajya Sabaha(Upper House of Parliament). Very few people in this country know this that Mr. Kapil Sibal always speaking against the Bihari's, but this person has been started his career in politics after elected in Rajya Sabha from Bihar.

So these people are not interacted so much in publicly in India so how they can address the people's motivation towards corruption free India. If India becomes corruption free than how they will run their business i.e lawyer. Government has been misleading by the people who never known for his people interaction in public domain, they are always keep themselves in AC Cabin and deal with high lever of business portfolios.

Mumbai Serial Blast

I am so saddened by what’s happened in Mumbai last night. My heart wrenches at the thought of what the families of the victims are going through. It’s so wrong.  Why do we have to always accept this terrorism? Why are we always told to move on? I won’t stand for terror anymore and I will not forget! Before Mumbai turns into Baghdad, Kabul and Lahore, before Taliban see India as easy target & send suicide squads, India needs firm leadership. Time for political leaders to stop squabbling and address serious issues like lives of citizens. If attacks provoked from outside India, we need to take the battle to them like USA had did so far in Afghanistan. If from inside India then we need to destroy those that support them.

Mumbai moves on not because it is resilient, but because it has no choice. Everyone has to go back to work. The bombs did not just drop from the skies! A human, like one of us put it into our circle. One of us who breathed and lived in Indian air.

Stop irresponsible reporting! Stop rumor mongering! Mumbai is reeling yet again. Don't endanger lives. Where is the CM? Ambulance chasing TV journalists show more sensitivity! This isn't about TRPs and breaking news. Mumbai is bleeding! People are dead. Have some shame or integrity that how to telecast these serious issue?

We keep condemning acts of terrorism and that's where the story ends every time and repeats again! It’s a shame! I hope we as Indians & people of the world collectively fight terrorism & make sure this does not happen in our neighborhood or backyard again! May god give peace to the souls of the departed and strength to the people who have been left behind in grief!

Lokpal Bill demand vs Indian Government

Civil society's battle against corruption acquired its sharpest edge ever on Tuesday as veteran social activist Anna Hazare began a fast unto death at the capital's landmark Jantar Mantar demanding greater public role in the Anti-Corruption Bill (Lokpal Bill), which has now been considered and put aside by successive regimes for the last 42 years.

Hazare wants the Lokpal's office to subsume the CVC so that both political leaders and officials come under its ambit as well as the judiciary. He also wants the Lokpal to have police powers — that is, to not just be a recommendatory body but an effective office that can file FIRs, chargesheet the accused and file cases. Hazare and other activists have been demanding for the Prime Minister's Office to come within the ambit of the Lokpal.

Thousands of people, including students, teachers, artistes, retired government officers and activists, joined Anna at Jantar Mantar to lend him support. On the Net, support for Anna is already a viral movement. Unless the government concedes to the demand, this support is only likely to grow.

The Jan Lokpal bill aims at making decisions of the state and Central Lokayuktas binding and final. The Lokpal is envisaged to have powers to dismiss corrupt officials, including judges and politicians. Many in the government feel the Lokpal should be limited to making recommendations.

Cutting across the political divide, thousands came out to support Hazare's fast and the Jan Lokpal Bill. Students, farmers and social activists waved the Indian flag and held up placards in support of the bill at the protest site.

Scams like 2G and Commonwealth Games, people have lost faith in the state. "Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and other freedom fighters sacrificed their lives for the country's independence. But power-hungry and corrupt politicians continue to exploit us. The RTI Act has given us a tool to get information hitherto not available but to punish those involved in such massive corruption a tough law is required which is not tailor-made to suit the needs of politicians.

It is a pity that an asset of the country — Anna Hazare — has to die for our criminal politicians and their vested interests. Prime Minister should not turn a blind eye towards corruption in his government and should muster the courage to not succumb to the pressures of coalition politics. India a new champion of ICC cricket world cup 2011

2nd April 2011, Saturday is the day when India became a champion of cricket world cup after 1983. This was the 2nd time when India became a champion o this cup. Everybody is happy and i am also a happy man when Indian skipper hit a ball for six. This was the proud moment for all of Indian people who watched this. I never seen the 1983 world cups win of Kapil Dev. There were always some people who thought that Sri-Lankan is better team than Indian team.

But the things are behind all Indian team was blessings of 121 crore of people from India itself and other are from outside India. The moment when Dhoni lift the cup it was really a proud moment for all India team. But this could be really a best moment for Sachin Tendulakar in his life. And this was the trophy he always wants to lift. If  Sachin could make a hundred in that match that would be really great one from greatest batsman of this game.

Thanks to MSD for giving us so much proudest moment in our life. He always been a cool captain and taken every risk works for great in this game whether it was two toss in final game, whether Sreesanth included in team 11 instead of Ashwin, whether MSD promoted himself ahead of inform batsman Yuvraj Singh. Everything was perfect.

Once again congratulation to Team India and all of Hindustani as well.

India Pakistan semi-final match in ICC World Cup 2011

What a match it was? India and Pakistan never meet in ICC world Cup Semifinal and it was really high sensational match. It was also a one of the biggest high voltage match as well. And what to say to Mr. Manmohan Singh for his cricket diplomacy? This was really a great platform to talk on unresolved issues between India and Pakistan. So much Mr. Manmohan Singh get on this I don’t know, but he has taken this event as opportunity to continue the dialogue between India and Pakistan and he succeeded.

Come to the India-Pakistan clash on ICC world cup semifinal. It was the worst day for Pakistani fielding, because they save the wicket of Sachin Tendulkar on 6 times and Tendulkar make 85 runs for digging the cave for Pakistan. Because after 60 over it was the pitch that support slower bowler at the end.

Once again Yuvraj Singh did a very good job for Dhoni by bowl. If we look and Indian win over Pakistan and Australia, now we can say that this team is look like a world champion and they are really capable to do so and I don’t have hesitation to say that this ICC world cup will be win by Indian Team.

Best of Luck and Good Luck as well for ICC world cup Final at Mumbai.

What the hell is going on : SC (Supreme Court of India)

SC evicts Thomas as CVC,shames govt

The Manmohan Singh government, which is already reeling under multiple scams from 2G to Commonwealth Gameswas on Thursday dealt a body-blow when the Supreme Court struck down the Prime Minister and home minister P C Chidambarams decision to appoint P J Thomas as central vigilance commissioner.
In one of the most significant judgments delivered by any Indian court in recallable memory,Chief Justice of India (CJI) Sarosh Kapadia, while reading out the relevant portions of the 71-page ruling before a packed courtroom, faulted the high-powered selection committee (HPC) for not considering the pending chargesheet against Thomas in a corruption case related to the import of palm oil while he was food and civil supplies secretary in Kerala.Singh and Chidambaram had,on September 3,2010,overruled Opposition leader Sushma Swaraj by a majority vote in favour of having Thomas as CVC.
In a stunning climax to a months-long legal and political drama,Justice Kapadias booming voice rang out to declare that the HPCs selection of Thomas was non-est in law ( non-est is something that does not exist) and, consequently, the appointment of P J Thomas as chief vigilance commissioner is quashed.
A Bench comprising the CJI and Justices K S Radhakrishnan and Swatanter Kumar said if the selection of a candidate as CVC adversely affected the institutional competency and functioning of CVC,it was the duty of the committee not to recommend such a candidate. The court said Thomas' continuance as CVC would seriously dent the image and stature of the anticorruption watchdog.

What the hell is going on: SC on Hasan Ali

What the hell is going on in this country, the Supreme Court remarked on Thursday as it expressed annoyance with the lack of governments seriousness in bringing to book alleged black money offenders like Hasan Ali Khan and asked for his arrest.
A Bench comprising Justices B Sudershan Reddy and S S Nijjar warned the government that it would be forced to monitor investigations into black money if the authorities kept viewing it as a tax evasion issue and failed to pursue the source of the illegal money stashed abroad.
Solicitor general Gopal Subramaniam assured the court that the government was pursuing the source behind black money and was ready to make public the names of persons who held accounts in Leichtensteins LGT Bank once the prosecution started against them.
The Bench pressed on,asking why Khan could not be taken into custody for interrogation, and whether the government would like the custodial interrogation under the courts supervision.
The courts anger boiled over when petitioner Ram Jethmalanis counsel Anil Divan said that not only had Khan not been interrogated in custody of the authorities, but some of the Enforcement Directorate officials who were on his case were either shunted out or victimized. It told the Centre to restore the persons you have relieved.

Govt not acting under pressure

A SC Bench warned the government that it would be forced to monitor probe into black money if authorities kept viewing it as a tax evasion issue and failed to pursue the source of the illegal money stashed abroad.
You (ED) know about his arms deals, smuggling cases and his other connections and still you allow him to come on another day.Whose convenience is sought to be seen We want a simple answer why is there not a custodial interrogation (of Khan) when the nations integrity and sovereignty is at stake. Solicitor general Gopal Subramaniam denied that the government was acting under any pressure. He said,There is nobody on the other side.We have a duty to discharge and we must be given an opportunity to complete our investigations.
The Bench allowed the Union government to respond to its queries by Tuesday, but wanted to know whether the Centre was open to the suggestion to have custodial interrogation under monitoring by the court.

NATIONAL GAMES VS ICC WORLD CUP 2011

National games before it is called by Indian Olympic Games has been started in 1924 in Lahore. Recently National Games has been held on three cities of Jharkhand Ranchi, Bokaro and Dhanbad participated all states of India including Services emerge as top on list of medal tally & Manipur gets second and Haryana gets third position. And Jharkhand emerged as 5th in medal tally to show the Delhi that they can beat them in sports at least where athletes can get more facilities than Jharkhand. It has been started on 12th February 2011 and concluded on 26th February 2011 at Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium, Ranchi.
ICC World Cup 2011 which is running in full flow in three hosting countries i.e. India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka as well. ICC Cricket world cup is playing by 8 to 14 countries. It is getting more viewer ship than National Games or Commonwealth Games that shows our strength in sports at international level. This shows that how many people are fascinated by our athletics events happening around us in our country. If any local team of cricket are playing cricket than we would prefer to talk about the local hero or cricket instead of national heroes who have taken a medal in national games.

Basically we are not having good sense in sports because of our slavery culture. We were never good in sports in these athletics culture so we always follow the way the British follow. Cricket is the game of lazy people who don’t want to work hard in different section. Athletics event always gets more hard work and more punctuality than cricket. It is the single people who hit the ball at one end and one people is hunting to stop the ball and other people are remaining stood up. If we will see the Cricketing playing nations are those country who had been slave by British Empire in past.

In these days all country are mad in the backyard of ICC Events. If I will ask the people of this country about National Games has been held on Ranchi, Jharkhand from 12th February to 26th February, do you know anything about that the 90% of people will say that they don’t what is National Games and Where it is going on or not. But if I ask the people about the game between Bangladesh and Ireland in ICC world cup events recently played the 90% of people will say Bangladesh had won that game by more than 20 runs. So this the culture of our country that we are saying that we are going to be a good sporting nation than we have to know that which kind of big sporting events are happening in which part of country.

All children 6 to 14 years old have the right to free and quality education under the recently passed Right to Education Act.

The RTE Act specifies minimum norms in government schools. It requires all private schools to reserve 25% of seats for children from poor families (to be reimbursed by the state as part of the public-private partnership plan). The Act also provides that no child shall be held back, expelled, or required to pass a board examination until the completion of elementary education. There is also a provision for special training of school drop-outs to bring them up to par with students of the same age.

The RTE Act is the first legislation in the world that puts the responsibility of ensuring enrolment, attendance and completion on the Government. The Right to Education of persons with disabilities until 18 years of age has also been made a fundamental right. A number of other provisions regarding improvement of school infrastructure, teacher-student ratio and faculty are made in the Act. To make the Right to Education Act successful, it is important that each one of us knows about it so that every child who is not in school can be sent back for free and quality education.
