The wait is over! Satyamev Jayate finally takes off. But, has the show lived up to the hype it has created so far? Well, Aamir Khan is surely in a win–win situation that way because the show is apt for the thick skinned Indian audience that usually is insensitive to such important topics, unless a superstar spoon feeds them. It's definitely a show with immense national appeal, pan India. By choosing a hard hitting topic for its first episode-female foeticide. The first episode dealt with female foeticide, which is a basic socially concerning topic. In fact, quite similarly, reality shows like Crime Patrol or Bhanwar have turned out to be successful in staging the emotions perfectly on small screen.
But, difference surely lies in the treatment. The superstar anchor excels at maintaining the suspense element throughout the show. He, like a true entertainer builds a plot that gets intriguing with every passing moment. Like for instance, the idea of introducing the topic, without giving a hint about what will follow next is very commendable. The surprises are followed by tremendous shock value, which take the show to another level.

Aamir Khan has done it. The perfectionist has indeed proved why he is called so! The magnanimous personality has struck gold with his debut TV show ‘Satyamev Jayate’ that promises to unearth the human in you. The show is not about TRPs and a rat race that believes in slinging mud at rivals. It’s a sincere effort that makes people hope and gives people the courage to stand up against the unsocial.
If the show becomes repetitive in terms of content, it may lose on to the loyal audience in the weeks to come. What adds to the misery is the question- whether the audience will continue to be receptive towards such hard-hitting shows, when they like to relax on weekends? So, if you want to awaken your conscience then follow Aamir, place your right hand on your heart and say ‘Satyamev Jayate’.
It would be unfair to compare Aamir Khan with other film stars who have hosted the TV shows in the past, as the concept of this show is completely different. Yes, the show is definitely highlighting the most serious issues that are bothering the country, but the question is what the outcome is?
Is this show money making scheme or it really has the potential to help the country in its own little way! Overall, Satyamev Jayate is a like old wine in a new bottle, but with Aamir Khan as its USP, it has a tremendous potential to create a stir all over.

Is mind is everything?

Science and technology can only study and reveal how the brain functions; it is yet to find a way to plumb completely the mind that propels the thinking process. There can be no mind without body although mind does not have a physical form. Mind in a way is affected by external situations and circumstances like living conditions, the food one consumes, susceptibility to body’s demands like hunger, thirst, sleep and other physical needs. But the fact remains that the evolved mind can handle these demands or urges well. Immensity of this subtle, invisible, intangible force cannot be measured. Since mind does not have a gross or physical form, its run cannot be obstructed or restrained. It is said mind travels faster than light. Mind needs to be cultivated or charged to reach its potential power. Buddha said, “The mind is everything. What you think, you become.”

The mind can open up a spectrum of possibilities including inner wisdom, heighten awareness of being and relate to universal cosmic energy. But the same mind, by falling prey to substance abuse, lust and anger, could not only rob itself of its power of reasoning but also cause havoc with physical health. The mind could get trapped in the web of past and future, hardly ever stopping for the present. To become fully alive to the present moment and enter into an elevated state of awareness, the mind has to calm down as it is the seat of perception and interpretation.

One’s state of mind can be divided into pure and impure. When engrossed in worldly ways of material trappings and sexual desires, the mind could adversely affect the journey of life. Mind alone is the cause of liberation and bondage. According to Thakur Sri Ramakrishna, “By mind one is bound, by mind one is freed.” Mind has three dimensions: the subconscious, conscious and super conscious mind. When the conscious state of mind is regulated and undergoes upward evolution, one begins to tread the path towards the super conscious state. Abilities like Extra Sensory Perception, clairvoyance, and telepathy all arise out of sheer mind power. Hyper linking the conscious mind to the super conscious state of liberation leads one to freedom from all bondage.

The Supreme has co-opted humankind as co-creator by giving the human being a highly developed mind, which distinguishes the species from those of any other living entity of this world, whose mind and instincts function only for the basic need and survival. A mind tuned finely with the melody of the universal mind can alter and better the course of life. A mind that is full of positive thoughts will not give space for impure trends. This has to be a constant endeavor even for a mind that has tasted the essence of being because, deluded by objects of senses, it starts seeking illusory sensual pleasures.

Mind motivated by matter is ignorance. Controlling the mind is a lifelong process. The best way is to make your mind your best friend, so that you are able to work in tandem to discover the own natural state. One should meditate on the mind as Brahmn, for all objects are perceived by mind.

Budget 2012

On 16th Honourable Finance Minister Mr. Pranab Mukherjee has been presented the Union budget of India on Parliament for UPA government for straight 7th times house.

Congress always emphasis on the word their election symbol is always with general people. This budget shows that they don’t have anything in mind to develop the people of India by anyhow. They want to keep focus on those thing how we can keep those illiterate people as illiterate that means they don’t want to develop the mindset of Indian People. This is very ridiculous that how they can think so much cheap.

This is the reflection of Assembly election in UP, if they won in UP than they can think some bigger package for UP, some good package to Indian Farmer to keep in mind UP. They have always in mind that they have 3 more years to face general election of India. So they don’t fear to take some bold decision in context of raising the Sales Taxes in 2%. It makes costlier all essential commodities. Because it will always summed up with all things which needs carrier.

Everywhere they can rise anything from 0.01% to 2-3% they rise to make the money to implement much awaited Food Security Bill i.e. dream of Honourable UPA chairperson Mrs. Gandhi. This is ridiculous they are making the plan, but never see the future of India. What happen to NREGA, there are lot of corruption news are coming around the country. What about the NRHM scam, politicians are making money in the name of implementing these Plans in their respective states. There are no matter where they are from it means which states. They all have some most corrupted people in their respective states and they always tried to keep their CM’s on their toe. Mr Akhilesh Yadav, youngest chief minister of UP include Mr Raja Bhaiya in their team of ministers. When He sacked Mr DP Yadav everyone thinking that he has courage to clean up the politics of SP, but what happen.

So come to the point, what about the Union Budget 2012. Mr Mukherjee fully focussed on everywhere he can make money to get the rid of fiscal deficit that is going up and up year by year. But we will see what happen is there any progress to decrease the fiscal deficit. They have nothing to do special I know but whenever if general people is talking about the Direct Taxes, there is nothing he has done, but if we go through with Indirect Taxes - Mr Mukherjee has all eyes and keep everything should be higher than last year. If any finance minster reshuffling anything into Direct Tax than everyone will know. But if FM making reshuffle into Indirect Tax than very less people will know how they are going to pay to government and by which way. But Indirect Tax is the area where any government making money to run their annual budge smoothly.

If finance advisory committee proposes the increase the Income Tax slab to Rs. 3 Lacs and Investment upto Rs 3.2 Lacs than why not he think about this. He just increase Rs. 20,000 only. What he thinks this the money that general people can save or this can help by any way to any of those general people whose annual income is just Rs 3.6 Lacs or more. If we can calculate by deducting Rs 2 Lacs from Rs 3.6 Lacs, he will have Rs 1.4 Lacs in which he will save Rs 1 Lac by investing in different sector, Now he has Rs 6,000 to pay tax that will be 10% of Rs. 60,000.

Rahul Dravid or The Wall or Jammy or Mr. Dependable

Known as 'the Wall' due to his ability to bat for long, Rahul Dravid has been the batting mainstay of Indian Test Team since he first arrived at the international scene in 1996. Dravid is regarded as one of the most technically sound batsmen of his time. He holds the record of being the only batsman to score a century in all ten Test playing nations. Dravid made his Test debut against England at Lords in June 1996 and scored 95. He is the third batsman to score more than 12,000 runs in Test cricket. Dravid has been involved in more than 80 century partnerships and stitched 19 century partnerships with Sachin Tendulkar - a world record. Dravid was awarded the ICC Player of the Year and the Test Player of the Year in 2004.

India's batting great Rahul Dravid, who bid adieu to international cricket on Friday, holds 30th position in the rating list for the all-time best in the Test cricket. The 39-year-old Karnataka batsman spent a total of 35 Tests and 226 days at the top, with the highest-rating of 892 which he achieved in March 2005, an ICC release stated. Among India batsmen, only Sunil Gavaskar (916) and Sachin Tendulkar (898) have achieved higher career ratings than Dravid. Dravid was also the first recipient of the ICC Test Player of the Year and the ICC Cricketer of the Year (the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy) awards, presented in 2004 in London.

Rahul Dravid was not just a cricketer. He was a true ambassador, who presented himself in the most appropriate manner on and off the cricket field. Never involved in any controversy whatsoever, Dravid ensured cricket firmly retained its tag of 'Gentleman's game'. After 16 years of steadfast service 'The Wall' has finally toppled. Rahul Dravid was one of cricket’s finest batsmen and one of a few Indian players no selector seemed able to drop. But dignity could have been his middle name and sensing he’d begun to overstay his welcome Dravid has retired from international cricket.  For those who love cricket the game, as opposed to cricket the enterprise, he will be missed, for his kind of cricketer, on and off the field, is becoming rarer. A man for whom technique mattered, he knew that batting not based on a sturdy defence was to dabble with chance. Like Glenn Turner before him, he learnt to keep the good balls out before risking glory through boundaries, though those glories did come as 13,288 Test runs and 10,889 one-day international runs attest.

If his deportment at the crease was exemplary and an example to others, so too was the way he engaged off the field. It is easy to lose perspective when one is lauded for simply breathing, as great cricketers in India are, but Dravid, now 39, neither milked nor scoffed at the idolatry. It won him enormous respect wherever he went, not something readily associated with many of today’s sportsmen.

With Sachin Tendulkar in the team, he wasn’t quite the best Indian batsmen of his era but he probably would have been in any other. Unlike Tendulkar or Virender Sehwag, though, he could have come from a time not his own. You only needed to apply a sepia wash to photos of him batting with his cap and neckerchief affixed to be transported back to the age of Vijay Merchant or Lala Armanath. Dravid was timeless but always with glorious timing.

His Test debut was at Lord’s in 1996, his first big game being umpire Dicky Bird’s last. Bird famously wept during the match as Dravid might after being dismissed for 95. His moniker of 'The Wall', one he never encouraged as it suggested his batting lacked elegance, hadn’t been constructed by then but its foundations were surely laid after he’d struck just six fours from the 363 balls he’d faced.

That innings helped to save India’s hide but the best knock I saw him play, also against England, was the 148 he made in the third Test at Headingley in 2002. In the kind conditions that English seam bowlers used to fantasise about - greenish pitch with thick, dark clouds hemming everyone in - he and Tendulkar, who made 193, gave a batting master class when the ball should not have been at their beckoning. Sourav Ganguly also made a century but England’s bowlers were so demoralised by the time he came in to join Tendulkar that it was a formality as India’s eventual victory was too, by an innings and 46 runs.

He was centre stage too in India’s extraordinary win over Steve Waugh’s Australia in 2001 Kolkata Test. His 180, made in concert with VVS Laxman’s double hundred, allowed India, who were in any case following-on, to turn a match that had looked lost completely on its head. The ensuing victory exposed a rare vulnerability in the Aussies and India won the next Test as well to take the series 2-1.

He batted well against England last summer, making three typically determined hundreds as his team were whitewashed from their perch as the world’s No 1 Test side. His batting, based on silky wrists and wondrous powers of concentration, hasn’t been so flash since and while his run of low scores against Australia is not in itself a reason to retire, their manner, after being bowled six times in eight innings, probably was.

As news of his retirement sunk in, Sunil Gavaskar, another great Indian batsman, called him a terrific role model saying that while youngsters look up to Tendulkar in awe, they could actually be Dravid, providing they were prepared to work hard enough.

My own thoughts are that he epitomised perfectly the phrase “Grace under fire,” Ernest Hemingway’s description of courage. Whatever challenge Dravid was presented with, at least on the pitch, he faced it with the kind of unruffled integrity that makes his next choice in life almost as interesting as his last one.

What is iPhone?

iPhone is a smartphone made by Apple that combines an iPod, a tablet PC, a digital camera and a cellular phone. The device includes Internet browsing and networking capabilities.

iPhone is extremely thin (only 11.6 millimeters thick) but wider and longer than many comparable devices. The display area is a 3.5-inch wide screen multi-touch interface with unusually high resolution (160 pixels per inch). Unlike most other smartphones, iPhone does not use a hardware keyboard or a stylus. To navigate, a user uses multiple taps and drags to navigate through a mobile version of Apple's OS X operating system. Like iPod, iPhone synchronizes data with a user's personal computer, using iTunes as a client software and Apple's proprietary USB port. iPhone is compatible with Microsoft's Windows operating systems, including Vista.
